Christian Pilgrims from Plateau State currently in the holy land on Pilgrimage have continued to describe their experience as a great blessing to their lives.

They say the effort by Governor Simon Lalong in granting them the opportunity to visit and see physical sites were Jesus performed several miracles and lived his life has shappened their lives which will in turn reflect on the entire state as they return.

A cross section of the pilgrims who spoke to correspondent Kenzy Ngupar after relocating from Nazareth to the town of Bethlehem in continuation of their visits offered special prayers for the leadership of Plateau State in an interdenominational Church service held in the city Bethlehem.

Reading from the book of Genesis chapter 41 v14,Venerable Musa Luka of the Anglican Dioces of Bukuru drew the attention of Chrisrians to the need to remove their old garments of sin and put on a new one of the Lord so that they will remain as light unto the world.

He told Pilgrims that as they return to their various states,a drastic change must be seen in them if not their pilgrimage to the holy land would have been a mere journey.

Earlier,Senior Special Assistant Media and Publicity to Governor Simon Lalong,Mark Longyen who is on the sixth batch of the pilgrims said the Governor takes holy pilgrimage as significant in the lives of the people hence his sponsorship of a number that has never been done in the history of the state.

He added that the Governor was clear in ensuring that Christians regardless of Political,Denominational and tribal affilliations benefited from the excercise which can be see from the composition of pilgrims on the ground.
 He added that Governor Lalong has said he will continue to sustain the sponsorship of Pilgrimages to the various religious faiths in the state without bias.

The interdenominal service which held in the city of the birth of Jesus Christ featured special prayers of impartation from clergies across Nigeria while a renowned music artist from Jos,Gloria Ejembi led the special sessions of praise and worship.
