NCPC  commends Lalong for sending highest number of citizens for ongoing pilgrimage to holy land

Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission has commended the Plateau state  Governor Simon Lalong for sending the highest number of citizens for the on going pilgrimage  to the Holy Land.

Executive Secretary of the Commission Reverend Uja Tor Uja gave the commendation when he played host to the Governor at the Headquarters of the Commission in Abuja.

Reverend Uja said the governor should sustain partnership with the Commission to enable them achieve their mandate of uplifting the spiritual lives of Pilgrims for the overall transformation of the society.

Governor Simon Lalong said his administration succeeded in sending more than one thousand seven hundred Pilgrims through prudent management of resource over the years.

Governor Lalong prayed that 2019  would be a year of forgiveness, tolerance and peace, stressing that Christians should use the pilgrimage to pray for the achievement of such.

The governor called for prayers for peaceful elections for the choice of credible leaders across the country.
