To curtail the spread of the dreaded Covid 19 virus , the Plateau State Executive Council  is currently holding an  Emergency Meeting today 24th March 2020.

Our correspondent also gathered that Governor Simon Bako Lalong is  to address citizens in  a statewide broadcast thereafter.

    My question now is; if those selling non- food stuffs items are to remain at home,then how are then going to eat e.g those that if they didn't go to markets for one day,there will be no food for them,how will they survive?
    If Covid -19 didn't kill us then, definitely hungry will kill us,because neither financial support nor any form of help from the government, no food no life

FG TO Scrap FRSC, Christian Pilgrims Commission, Hajj Commission, 4 Others May 2,2020 The Federal Government has considered scrapping seven (7) major government agencies, following President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to consider the recommendations of Stephen Oransaye-led report on “Restructuring and Rationalisation of the Federal Government’s Parastatals, Commissions and Agencies”. These agencies are: Fiscal Responsibility Commission, National Poverty Eradication Programme, Utilities Charges Commission (UCC), National Economic Intelligence Committee, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). In the 103 pages of the white paper, the report stated that the Act establishing the listed agencies should be repealed, while also suggesting the merger of other bodies with similar responsibilities.
