COVID 19 - Bank in Jos shuts down operations after employee tested positive

A First Generation Bank's Main Branch in Jos the Plateau state capital has temporarily shut its doors on Wednesday after an employee tested positive for the dreaded COVID-19 virus .
Our correspondent gathered from a source that the bank was closed down and the premises has been fumigated .
The source said that all staff of the bank in the branch are now being tested for COVID-19.
When contacted the Commissioner for Health in Plateau Dr Nimkong Lar ,confirmed the reported case .
He said that the person infected has been moved to the isolation center and has started receiving treatment .
Lar said that " we have commenced Contact tracing .
He called on people of the state to adhere to laid down guidelines in order to stop the spread of the dreaded virus .
