 Long Kwo holds first Council meeting, to appoint more title holders October July 31,2021 The Long Kwo of Kwo Chiefdom Miskoom Fidelis Longtoe Attahiru I, on Saturday July 24, 2021 held his first Council meeting  at the District office in Kwande, Quaan Pan Local Government Area of Plateau State. During the meeting with his newly appointed title holders, Miskoom Attahiru I briefed them on his tour of his domain, which he said was significant. The meeting also received reports from 13 families who were holding in trust Kwo land before the emergence of the new Long Kwo. Among the families that presented their reports are  those of Kumbur, Goje, Kanglu Alade, Aboki, Dumbu and Wau. Others are the families of Kawap, Pegoelong,  John Eplong, Danlami Nkup, Kurwat , Ndek and the Long Nwum. The meeting also identified the  vacant titles under the jurisdictions of the Niyu of Luukwo and Kawo Npap, after the Niyu, Miskoom Tsenlong Barau Miskoom Kawo Tanko Be"et presented their reports.  Plateau embarks on massive revenue drive  July 29,2021 By Golok Nanmwa ,Jos  Weeks after signing the newly passed Revenue Law and Property and Land Use Charge Law as well as the Plateau Geographic Information Systems Law, Governor Simon Lalong has flagged off a high powered revenue drive with a target to raise the monthly revenue base of the State to about 3 to 5 billion monthly.  While flagging off the exercise at the Plateau State Internal Revenue Service Headquarters in Jos, the Governor Lalong said the revenue drive is aimed at changing the income of the State to pave way for funding more projects and programmes which are hampered currently because of lack of funds.  Lalong who paid the ground rent charges for his personal property, said he decided to lead by example in order to demonstrate to the citizens that nobody is above the law or will be left out in the process.  He said " I am not asking the citizens to do as I SAY, but to do as I DO.  I am not only the Governor, but

 OPSH Commander visits wounded Personnel reiterate troops welfare  July 28,2021  General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army and Commander Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) Jos, Major General Ibrahim Sallau Ali has today 28 July visited wounded personnel of OPSH at the Air Force Military Hospital Jos.  The wounded personnel ACM Nwafor Nonso who was on military patrol bike sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of an accident he sustained during routine patrol to secure Mangu - Payam road in Mangu local government area of Plateau state.   Describing the accident as unfortunate, the commander OPSH, Major General Ibrahim Ali said security agencies have made unquantified sacrifices to secure the citizens.  Gov Lalong advocates  lighting of more rural communities in Plateau  July 28,2021 By Golok Nanmwa ,Jos  Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has advocated for the lighting of more rural communities in the State through the deployment of Solar Mini Grid system.  Governor Lalong  who visited the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) in Abuja in Wednesday  to meet with the Managing Director Engr.
