 Asiwaju Yourba of Plateau Olagbemiro  condemns attacks of communities in Jos North  August 27,2021 By Golok Nanmwa ,Jos  Asiwaju Yourba of Plateau state and  Jos based business  man  Jide Olagbemiro  yesterday condemned the attack on Yelwa zangam community behind the University of Jos, where gunmen on Tuesday  killed over 35 people.  Senator Daduut  condemns killing of 35 persons in Jos North August 25,2021 By Golok Nanmwa ,Jos  Senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly,  Prof. Dame Nora Daduut  has condemned in strong terms the attack on   Yelwan Zangam of Anaguta community in Jos North where over 35 persons were reported  killed, some of whom were burnt beyond recognition. August 25,2021  suspected fulani  bandits have attacked the Yelwa zangam community, behind the University of Jos, killing over 35 people. Eyewitnesses say the fulani armed gunmen invaded the community at about 9pm on Tuesday  evening burning houses and shooting anyone on sight. It was gathered that the attackers had disabled the bridge leading to the Anaguta community preventing any  access to help before launching their attacks. The eyewitness who does not want his name in print said several  entire families were burnt alive in their homes while others who sustained injuries are being treated in the hospital. The Plateau State Police Command is to is yet to give details of the incident, as at the time of filing this report. Details to come shortly........

 *TROOPS OF OPERATION SAFE HAVEN NEUTRALISE 6 KIDNAPPERS … Recover weapons*  August 24,2021 On Monday 23,  August 2021, troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) successfully neutralised syndicate of 6 criminals that specialise in kidnapping innocent people in Mangu local government area of Plateau State. The troops also recovered weapons belonging to the Nigerian Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) from the bandits. The Troops in a joint operations  with the Divisional Police Headquarters at Mangu responded swiftly to a distress call from the IRT that bandits had attacked the team and took away their weapons. The bandits were also said to have also kidnapped two majors. Our correspondent gathered that the bandits who attacked the barracks around 1am on Tuesday are still be inside the academy.
