PKK youths endorse Gagdi for re-election in 20e

Youths from Pankshin/Kanke/ Kanam Federal Constituency in Plateau state  have promised to return  Rep. Yusuf Gagdi Babayo , the member representing them in the House of Representatives in 2023 .

Speaking at a  meeting  on Tuesday ,  the  leader of the group Gogop George  said since it was legitimate for elected lawmakers to seek re-election, its members were urging  Hon Yusuf   Gagdi to go for another term.

"Yusuf Babayo Adamu Gagdi is an asset  to the people of PKK and should be supported by all to ensure that he wins his second term bid .”

“He has been able to better the lives of the people of PKK and we believe that his return to the House of Representatives for the second term would bring more dividends of democracy to his people."

The youths also passed a vote of confidence on  Gagdi noting that his performance in lawmaking, human capital development  ,empowerment and attracting federal projects to the area was overwhelming.

“With the experience, he has garnered so far he would be able to do more for the people of the area and the state if re-elected

The youths called on the state Governor Simon Lalong  and the leadership of the All Progressive Congress in the state to work with Gagdi Babayo as he has the key to the winning formula.

They  said the lawmaker should be encouraged so he can attract more projects to the federal constituency, stressing  that pull him down syndrome should stop .

 "Gagdi is a detribalized Nigerian who has carried all along since he became a lawmaker."

"We would  support him and ensure he emerges victorious at the polls come 2023 " ,the youths further added .
