Just in: Plateau monarch regains freedom

By pwol Benjamin Dature, Jos June 23 2022 The Paramount ruler of Panyam in Mangu LGA early today regained freedom from kidnappers after three days in captivity. The kidnappers who had earlier contacted the monarch's family demanded a ransom of N50M, no clear statement has been issued on whether or not the family conceded to their demand. The monarch has since reunited with his family and community members and is in sound health. You will recall that his abduction was earlier reported by this medium on the 20th of June, 2022, when unknown gunmen where reported to have whisked the Paramount ruler away in his palace/home at the wee hours of the morning. The expectations on May 27, 2022 during the primaries of the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency was massive, even as many had expected. Candidly speaking, there were fears of the unknown. GOVERNOR LALONG INSPECTS PROJECTS, SET TO COMMISSION HIGH COURT COMPLEX, OTHERS

Pteau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has inspected some projects in Jos with a directive to the contractors to complete the work ready for commissioning in few months from now. Lalong who visited the new High Court Headquarters Complex in Jos expressed satisfaction with the level of the work and its quality.  The facility which has been structurally completed and currently being furnished is expected to be commissioned soon.
